Marketing Associate

You are the one that will help launch InSource Diagnostic’s market presence and make us a stronger competitor in the healthcare industry. As a Marketing Associate, you will assist in a variety of projects for InSource as we prepare to launch our products and suite of testing procedures in 2018. The marketing associate will work across marketing disciplines including branding, content creation, public relations, and partner marketing. You will be responsible for shaping and delivering marketing insights, collateral, external event coordination, and more to improve business performance. The motto of this position: Know the client. What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with the CEO and department heads to create a robust and growth focused marketing plan
  • Develop compelling case studies and testimonials (written and video) for use by sales team and in marketing tactics. Identify potential case studies, interview clients, work to pull compelling supportive data, and write case studies
  • Work closely with departments to create internal and external marketing collateral for conferences and/or clients
  • Execute all elements of our presence (booth exhibit, vendors, logistics, staff, training, collateral, swag, speaking, budget etc)
  • Help lead and direct all external agency partners and other vendors on project, timelines, budgets and deliverables
  • Organize and execute field & sponsorship events such as tradeshows and networking events
  • Maintain and manage relationships with preferred vendors and partners
  • Support CEO to develop PR strategy to support product launches, corporate branding, thought leadership, product reviews, and more
  • Write press releases, bylined articles, pitches, briefing documents, talking points; develop and maintain media lists
  • Identify award opportunities; write and submit entries
  • Develop a data-driven social media strategy to increase awareness and adoption of InSource Diagnostic’s procedures
  • Conduct market research to find answers about consumer requirements, habits and trends; Brainstorm and develop ideas for creative marketing campaigns
  • Prepares and tracks marketing reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales data
  • Identify, coordinate, and execute new business opportunities in line with strategic objectives
  • Ad hoc requests from CEO or other department heads

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year accredited university or equivalent experience
  • 0-3 years experience in marketing, healthcare sales, administration or related field
  • Solid computer skills, including MS Office, marketing software (Adobe Creative Suite & CRM) and applications (Web analytics, Google Adwords etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A get it done attitude. You know how to prioritize, you are self-sufficient and you make things happen. You are a change agent.
  • An infectious passion for science, health, wellness and DNA
  • Entrepreneurial spirit/ self-starter with strong desire to tackle big, audacious goals
  • Ability to manage projects against defined deliverables, budgets and timelines
  • Team player

Nice to Haves

  • 1 year of experience with social media
  • 1 year of experience with event planning and/or conference coordination
  • 1 year of experience with project management
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS and web development tools (e.g. Dreamweaver) desired
  • A voracious appetite for growth and new opportunities
  • Intellectual curiosity and passion for learning new things
  • Strong analytical/ quantitative skills, preferably with working knowledge of Excel and SQL
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish
